For the lasagna:- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Caribbean seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. 3. Add the onion, garlic, red and green bell peppers and cook until the vegetables are tender. 4. Add the Caribbean seasoning, salt, pepper, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir to combine. 5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. 6. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth. 7. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the sauce has thickened. 8. Add the salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese to the saucepan and stir until the cheese has melted. 9. To assemble the lasagna, spoon a layer of the sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. 10. Add a layer of cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. 11. Spoon another layer of the meat sauce on top of the noodles. 12. Add another layer of noodles, followed by another layer of meat sauce. 13. Continue layering the noodles and meat sauce until all of the ingredients are used up. 14. Pour the cheese sauce over the top of the lasagna. 15. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the cheese sauce. 16. Bake the lasagna in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 17. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.Notes
